SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (C)

Education: BE/ BTECH (Electronics/ Computer Science/ Electronics and Telecommunication) from a recognized University with 60% marks.
Work Experience:
1 – 2 years
Job Domain:

• Have clear understanding of Linux. Independently configure network services like DNS, HTTP, DHCP, NIS, NFS etc. on Linux, install and troubleshoot Linux OS.
• Attend users calls to maintain desktop/laptops on Linux and Windows.
• Be knowledgeable on 100 Mbps Ethernet network.
• Have knowledge of network printer configuration.
• Be able to maintain backup and restore data
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to Troubleshoot PC and Server Hardware at primarily level
• Be able to communicate with vendors for support and supply of spares
• Have Programming knowledge of PERL, Php, C++, JAVA and shell scripting will have an edge.
• Have basic understanding of High Performance Computing.

Salary: Rs.42,842/- pm
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay : Rs.5400/- ; Pay Band (PB-3)
Age Limit as on July 1, 2011: Below 28 years
